Table tennis medals are small, and there are a lot of them
Divisions, age groups, doubles, team events — a club night can hand out four in an evening. Individually they are the size of a coin, which is exactly why they vanish into drawers and never come back out.
Small medals are also the ones a rail suits best. Hooks space them out and waste the wall; a continuous bar lets ribbons sit close together, so forty medals read as one block rather than a scattered row. Cut from 2.5 to 3 mm stainless steel, depending on width.
Clubs buy these as end-of-season presentations more often than individuals do. If that is the plan, the personalised configurator can cut a club name into the steel; this listing is the off-the-shelf design.
The same medal display is cut in several widths. Buying as a gift? Count what is already in the drawer and go one size up.
Size & capacity
| Size | Steel | 1 rail | 2 rails | 3 rails |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 45 x 8 cm | 2.5 mm | 13-20 | 24-36 | 34-50 |
| 60 x 11 cm | 3 mm | 21-30 | 38-55 | 55-75 |
| 75 x 11.5 cm | 3 mm | 31-45 | 55-80 | 75-110 |
Not sure which size?
Table tennis medals are small and their ribbons are narrow, so a rail holds more of them than the capacity table suggests. If you are between two widths here, the smaller one is usually enough. This design is produced from 45 cm upwards — the cut-out detail doesn't hold at smaller widths.
Why stainless steel, not painted sheet metal
The medal hanger is cut from AISI 304 stainless steel (V2A / 1.4301), 2.5-3 mm thick depending on the width. Not painted sheet metal that chips at the first knock.
And it holds a continuous rail, not hooks. Twelve hooks means twelve medals. A rail holds as many as fit.
Putting it up
The standoffs hold it a centimetre off the wall, which is what gives the shadow line. Template, screws and plugs are included; you need a drill and ten minutes.
After the first one is full
They're made to pair. A second unit sits flush against the first and the run reads as a single display. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
Shipping & returns
This medal hanger is made in the EU in our own workshop and dispatched in 3–5 working days. Fourteen days to return it.
